Amazon’s Prime Day is just around the corner — the two-day sale event is on July 12 and 13 — but if you’re after a deal on an Apple Watch, a Mac, or even AirPods, the online retailer is starting deals early.

And as we do all year round, we scour the web for the best deals and are breaking down the best early Amazon  (AMZN) – Get Amazon.com Inc. Report Prime Day deals on all sorts of Apple gadgets ahead. The smallest iPad — the 2021 iPad Mini — is nearly $100 off at $409, from $499 for the 64GB Wi-Fi model. This is matching an all-time low we’ve seen, and it’s an excellent time to grab one of these. It’s just as powerful as other iPads and is a perfect size for portability with an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display.

We expect to see this drop lower as we approach Prime Day, and it’ll be an even better deal. It’s the perfect iPad for both play and work, thanks to the A13 Bionic chip inside. It makes iPadOS fly on the device.

It’s seeing a slight discount to $559, which we would bet on increasing during Prime Day. It comes in five fun colors, is powered by the super speedy M1 chip, has Touch ID built into the power button, and lets you see everything on a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display.

The Apple Watch Series 7 is seeing an excellent $70 off for the 41mm GPS model in Green, Midnight, (PRODUCT) Red, or Blue. It’s just $329 for the most powerful Apple Watch, with an edge-to-edge Always-On brighter Retina Display, support for fast charging, and a bevy of health and fitness features. It’s an excellent deal for the Apple Watch Series 7. You can also save on the larger 45mm Series 7 in the same colors.

It’s also the perfect entry point into the world of smartwatches for an Apple user. It’s just $229 for the 40mm GPS in Space Gray, Gold, or Silver. The larger 44mm in the same trio of colors is discounted to $259.

It’s a streaming box — much like a Roku or a Fire TV device — but it’s running tvOS and is deeply integrated with all of Apple’s services. It also sports my favorite remote ever — the Siri Remote. It’s $10 off now ahead of Prime Day, and I’d keep an eye on this one for deeper discounts.

It can still run circles around previous gen Intel Macs and any windows laptop in the same price range. It’s $100 off at just $899 for the M1, 256GB SSD, and 8GB of RAM in Silver. This is one of the best deals leading into Prime Day.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2022?Amazon

Amazon’s 2022 Prime Day is coming in fast and starts on July 12, 2022. As it’s a two-day shopping event, it will close at the end of the day on July 13, 2022. You’ll need a Prime Membership to take advantage of all the deals, and you can expect savings on nearly every category of goods on Amazon.

How much does Amazon Prime cost?Here is some good news — you can start with a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime to get a feel for the service and see if it makes sense. After that, Amazon Prime is $14.99 a month or $139 for the whole year. The latter is the best deal as you save on the overall cost, which comes to about $12 a month. If you go the free trial route, know that it will automatically charge you after the trial period.

And if you’re a frequent Amazon.com user, the perk of free, fast shipping on most orders will likely make it worth it from the start.
